Urbani tekači (Urban Runners) have been training for 19 years, in all seasons and in all weather. If you’d like to feel our energy, join us for two free trial sessions.
Spring training – April, May and June 2026
In April, May and June, training starts at 6:00 PM.
Meeting point on Tuesdays and Thursdays:
in front of the entrance to the Tivoli swimming pool.
We also offer additional spring sessions at 5:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, meeting in front of the Kodeljevo swimming complex. These sessions are easy to moderate in intensity.
Training fees 2026
1 session = €5
1 month (once per week) = €20
1 month (twice per week) = €35
3 months (once per week) = €45
3 months (twice per week) = €80
6 months (once per week) = €85
6 months (twice per week) = €150
1 year (once per week) = €155
1 year (twice per week) = €220
If you are absent due to a longer holiday or illness, your membership will be frozen and extended accordingly.

Beginner program
For complete beginners, we offer a special program “From Walking to Running”, co-financed by the City of Ljubljana and free of charge for participants.
Summer training – July and August 2026
In July and August, training starts at 7:00 PM.
Meeting locations vary: Tivoli, Kodeljevo, Sava, PST and Barje.
Autumn training – September, October, November
All autumn sessions start at 6:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays,
meeting in front of the Tivoli swimming pool.
Additional sessions: 5:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays at Kodeljevo, intended for easier-paced groups.
Winter training – January, February and March 2026
Tuesdays at 5:00 PM in Tivoli
Thursdays at 6:00 PM at Kodeljevo
Meeting points:
Tivoli: in front of the Tivoli swimming pool
Kodeljevo: in front of the Kodeljevo stadium
We recommend attending once or twice per week.

Equipment
For autumn and winter training, a headlamp or waist light is essential.

What does a training session look like?
Sessions last between 1 and 1.5 hours.
After a joint warm-up, we split into 3–4 groups of different intensity levels:
Easy group (Lahkotneži)

Slower pace, frequent alternation of walking and running. Suitable if you can run 1–3 minutes at a time.
Intermediate group (Srednježi)

Moderate pace, also combining walking and running. Suitable for those running 10 km in 60–75 minutes.
Advanced group (Težavneži)

Fastest and longest runs. Suitable for those running a half marathon between 1:25 and 2:00.
Once or twice per week?
You can attend training once or twice per week.If you attend once per week, you can freely choose the day.
